Salon Manager & Consultant Joanne Russell has 25 years’ experience in the hairdressing industry.  Here she tells us a little about herself...

Which hair cuts, styles or colours do you love creating?  I love all aspects of colouring and cutting, from natural to fashion colours, using different techniques from traditional foiling to free-hand painting for a natural sun-kissed blend. It’s not nice for clients when a colour goes wrong but I do love a colour correction - it makes us go back to the science of hair and think outside the box.  Some clients would not believe the shades of colours we use to get the end results.

Which services do you provide? All aspects of hairdressing from cutting, restyling and colouring to hair up, gents' hairdressing and styling.

What do you love about being a hairdresser? Always learning, going on training courses to keep up with the trends of today - every day is different. I love spending time with my clients and getting to know their hair. I have clients who come from all across the world to see me, the furthest being Abu Dhabi !

What inspires you to create fabulous hair?  The internet inspires me.  I spend a lot of my free time researching fashion trends and celebrity hairdressers.  Plus, product knowledge changes all the time, so I have to keep myself refreshed and one step ahead of the game.

How would you describe yourself in three words? Professional, experienced and passionate.

Designer Pas James joined Inspiration Hair when she left school and has been working there now for more than 32 years.   She is an expert in cutting, perming, setting and colouring hair.

Which styles or colours do you absolutely love doing?  I like restyling hair and doing full head colours so the client leaves the salon looking and feeling totally different.

What do you love about being a hairdresser?  I love meeting new people and making a difference to how they feel. I also love seeing my regular clients and keeping up with what's going on in their world. They are not just clients; they are friends.

Which celebrity hair would you like to get your hands on and why?   Kim Woodburn from How Clean Is Your House? and Celebrity Big Brother.  I would cut her hair into a short bob with a variation of blondes.

If you had to live on a desert island, which three hair products would you take with you?  Moroccanoil, L'Oreal Volumetry Shampoo & Conditioner so at least my hair would be clean!

What is your ultimate ambition?  To make enough money so when I retire I can live by the sea.

How would you describe yourself... in three words?  Vivacious, loyal, hardworking.

What do you love about your job?  I love being a receptionist as I get to meet the public. I am professional but relaxed and I pride myself on remembering every client's name and making an effort to get to know the clients. I love working as part of a team and love learning about the retail products, so I can assist with what clients require.

Which products do you absolutely love?  My three favourite products are Volumetry Shampoo and Conditioner from L'Oreal, and British Hair Styling Dust which helps make my hair thicker.

How would you describe yourself in three words? Friendly, helpful and assertive.

Meet Charley, a naturally caring, all-rounder who prides herself on taking great care of both clients and colleagues. Charley is our Gel Nail & Beauty Technician and is your go-to girl if you are looking for a fabulous, pampering nail service.

Charley loves to create bespoke nail art in a wide variety of designs, colours and effects including diamantes,  and chrome nails as well as delivering classic manicures, pedicure & gel nail services to keep your nails in tip-top condition.

Meet Ellie. Ellie is a very positive Senior Stylist here at Inspiration who always strives to help you achieve your hair & nail goals.  

Ellie takes great pride in everything she does and is the queen of big bouncy blow drys. She also loves to carry out bold hair colour transformations using the latest creative colours and is fabulous at balayage work.

Ellie says: I now have over 7 years’ experience in the hairdressing industry and I’m excited to see what the future brings.

Laura is our freelance hairdresser working within Inspiration. Laura has been running her own business for over 7 years and her loyal clientele  built over her 20 plus years experience speaks volumes about her outstanding work. Laura is also very well know for bridal hair within Worcester.

Christina is a popular freelance beauty therapist working within Inspiration. Christina is a fully qualified beauty therapist with over 9 year of experience in the beauty industry. She is highly qualified in all aspects of beauty treatments and specialises in advanced facials. You can experience the transformative power of many treatments available, such as advanced and Dermalogica facials, lash lift, eyebrow lamination, intimate waxing, massage and nails.

Create here is a personal and private treatment area for her clients while ensuring they have an enjoyable and relaxing visit. It's more than just a treatment room - it's a place where you can connect and chat with plenty of TLC.
